When all the warnings and cautions given to women smokers failed, the U.K. Government has finally resorted to giving incentives to all those pregnant females who quit smoking. Yes, the health chief has announced to reward such females with incentives worth hundreds of pounds, which will include anything from cinema tickets to grocery vouchers. A total of £100,000 has been set aside as an encouragement to approximately 250 women, which means about £400 will be the share of each one of them. To start with, the experiment is all set to be launched in Dundee, where half the population of pregnant females smokes. We hope that the attempt from the government comes out to be a success and do some good to the swelling figures of smoking mothers.
