Pregnant Japanese women, soon to get special travelling badges

Pregnant women in Japan will now travel with strange kind of blue and pink badges reading "There is a baby in my belly" with a hope to get seat by the fellow passengers during the journey. The attempt made by Tokyo rail companies is supposed to make commuting easier for the expecting mothers. These badges will be provided to them at the stations. With these at guard, they will not have o bear the embarrassment of providing some kind of proof to their pregnancy during the initial months. The move comes as an attempt to support the birthrate that is dwindling over the years. I hope people who couldn’t notice those bellies will notice the badges and actually help women in commuting and in turn work towards increasing the thin population of the country.
