Puffing ‘marijuana’ can lead to dangerous repercussions for the foetus. According to a recent research, women smoking ‘marijuana’ can suffer failure in early pregnancy, as it directly influences the female anatomy. Dr. HaibinWang of Vanderbilt University concluded that when a mice was injected with ‘psychoactive component of marijuana’ it developed a ‘swamping effect’ which lead to the failure of embryos. They assumed that the resulting absence of a compound named anandamide (responsible for regulating early pregnancy)in the fatty acid is the cause of physiological changes that can ‘miss the normal window for embryo implantation in the uterus’. The journal further stated that the drugs used as a target for weight loss and inhibiting appetite are to be carefully dealt with as they may contain some ingredients that can prove harmful to the women of reproductive age. So, just stop puffing and melt down that high!
