Thus the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) is stressing hard on the point that the flu vaccine will prevent women and their unborn babies from the adverse affect of flu.
The JCVI has declared that women in their later stages of pregnancy are at bigger risk of morbidity and mortality from the seasonal influenza.
