Recently the Michigan Civil Rights Commission have ruled that businesses smaller than 15 employees must provide coverage for contraceptives if their health insurance plan is comprehensive. It further stated that on refusing the idea it would be taken as discrimination towards the women. The religious basis would only be the acceptable reason for noncompliance according to the Commission.
